Step
1:
Open your image that you will working with in Adobe Photoshop.
Step
2:
We are first going to select our selection. In our case
it is the tulip and the stem. Select the Polygonal Lasso
Tool from the side menu bar.

With the
Polygonal Lasso Tool selected, click around your selection,
ending where you started. Once you get to were you began
you will have running ants around your selection as pictured
below.

Step
3:
From the top menu bar click on (Select > Inverse).
This will move the running ants so the background will
be selected instead of our tulip and stem.
Step 4:
Now go to (Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur). This
will open the Gaussian Blur window. For our image we used
a radius of 8. If you prefer your image to have have depth
you can make the radius higher.
